Title – Domestic Disturbance
Released – 2001
Director – Harold Becker
Starring – John Travolta, Vince Vaughn, Teri Polo, Steve Buscemi
Review – Domestic Disturbance follows Frank (Travolta) as he tries to come to terms with his ex-wife getting remarried to nice guy Frank (Vaughn). Turns out Frank’s a not-so-nice-guy and things escalate to wacky and unbelievable levels. Firstly, the film isn’t good. It’s strangely paced and Travolta’s character feels superfluous to a lot of it. On the plus side it’s never boring. Vaughn, Travolta, and Buscemi are always a blast to watch and the film goes to some stupidly entertaining places (the Travolta vs Vaughn showdown is a highlight). It won’t change your life but you could do worse things for 86 minutes.
