Review – Platypus is already over ten years old but that doesn’t mean it’s dated. The beautiful claymation worlds hold up extremely well and the whole look of the game is just as original as it was back when I was playing it ten years ago. The game remains challenging, at the time of writing I haven’t even conquered stage 2, but it remains a ton of fun too, especially in the 2 player mode. The game isn’t particularly deep; the gameplay is pretty much the same throughout but it is fun. Along with the brilliant animation, awesome soundtrack, and low price there’s no reason not to pick Platypus up.
