100 Words or Less – Constantine

100 Words or less

Title – Constantine

Released – 2005

Director – Francis Lawrence

Starring – Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf

Review – Constantine is an underrated supernatural film staring the incomparable Keanu Reeves. Reeves brings his own unique acting style to the film, and along with other great actors like Peter Stormare Constantine  becomes something really special. Sure, it isn’t faithful to its comic book origins and it doesn’t do anything especially ground-breaking but it is a whole lot of fun. It’s not high art or anything but it involves Keanu Reeves hunting down demons with a crucifix shaped shotgun; what’s not to like? Wonderfully silly, but well directed and greatly acted, Constantine is basically a good Van Helsing.
