Review – Do you smell what the Rock is cooking? Something awesome apparently as he beats up a whole group of guys armed with nothing more than a bit of wood. Walking Tall is a surprisingly well-made action/revenge film that despite its lack of blood actually has some excellent, and brutal, action scenes. Johnson is the veteran returning to his old town which is under the thumb of a local casino owner, played menacingly by Neal Mcdonough. Walking Tall is a great throwback to the mindless action of the 80’s and 90’s. Watch purely for the sight of The Rock breaking bones with a 2X4.
