A episode revolving around two of the less popular characters could be a really, or it could be a chance to develop them more. Luckily the show goes the route of the latter and we get an episode with some very compelling characters.

Things get out of hand in this brilliant and clever episode. “Bury Me Here” acts as a spiritual sequel to two of the shows finest hours; “Clear” and “Here’s Not Here”.

The Walking Dead – ‘Say Yes’ Review

We catch back up with Rick and Michonne as they take a trip to a funfair in this funny and more upbeat episode. At first at least.

Elsewhere Rosita plots and Tara has a wonderful moment with baby Judith.

The Walking Dead – ‘Hostiles and Calamities’ Review

The lastest episode of The Walking Dead sees the focus shift to The Sanctuary and it’s newest occupant Eugene, AKA Dr. Smartypants.

Usually people can be divided with these sort of episodes, where the main cast doesn’t make a single appearance. But I think it will be difficult for anyone to dislike this week’s episode. With humour and poignancy it’s one of the best episode the show’s ever had. And more Negan!

The Walking Dead – ‘New Best Friends’ Review

Only The Walking Dead could introduce a zombie gladiator match and make it so awesome.

We meet a new faction this week and find out where Gabriel ended up. Elsewhere in the episode, we have an excellent reunion between Daryl and Carol.

The Walking Dead – ‘Rock in the Road’ Review

The Walking Dead is back! Picking back up where the last half of the season ended, Rick is recruiting. But it won’t be easy.

Also this week, the coolest zombie kill ever filmed.

The Walking Dead – ‘Hearts Still Beating’ Review

This has been a pretty grim season, with all of our main characters in one way or another being crushed under Negan’s heel. Rick especially is far from the murdering badass of previous seasons. But that’s fine, the characters need to be thoroughly broken before they can satisfyingly “rise up”. This midseason finale, one of the best they’ve done, not only offers real hope but makes all the hardship of the previous six episodes worth it.

The Walking Dead – ‘Sing Me a Song’ Review

After a few weeks away from Rick and the group, we’re back with the main players. Sort of. This episode shows what everyone is up to but the main focus is on Carl and Negan. That means more Negan! Which is never, ever a bad thing.
