100 Words or Less – No Escape

100 Words or less

Title – No Escape

Released – 2015

Director – John Erick Dowdle

Starring – Owen Wilson, Lake Bell, Pierce Brosnan

Review – No Escape opens with a title card that looks straight out of an 80’s B movie, and it goes on like that. A modern day exploitation film with one job; to make you feel as uncomfortable and tense as possible. The story follows Owen Wilson whispering his way through a revolt in an unnamed Asian country. With the help Pierce Brosnan and his sidekick Kenny Rogers (yeah) Owen Wilson and his family run from tanks, machine guns, helicopters and all sorts of rebel weaponry. The reviews were harsh but I’d recommend it for an intense and entertaining ride. Surprisingly awesome.
