Title – Kill Bill Volume 1
Released – 2003
Director – Quentin Tarantino
Starring – Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Daryl Hannah
Review – Kill Bill Vol. 1 is not director Quentin Tarantino’s best film, but it is still great and occasionally excellent. Kill Bill is a story of revenge centred on Thurman’s ‘The Bride’ as she enacts vengeance on The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad and Bill, the people who killed her baby and left her with a hole in her head. The cast is exceptional and the dialogue amazing, although there’s less than in other Tarantino films. The appeal of this film is the first-rate action and the highlight is The Bride vs The Crazy 88 finale. The lesser half of the 2, but a skilful outing from Tarantino.
