Review – Not at all what you’d expect. The poster suggests typical Statham action but our bald hero and reliable director Simon West craft something a lot more colourful. The film is basically a weirdly episodic day in the life of Las Vegas bodyguard Nick Wild (not the one from Zootopia) with a really good performance from The Stath. You could tell his heart was in this one. There are also some fun supporting characters, including a very suave Stanley Tucci. And of course there are a few really great crunchy fighter scenes. Doesn’t add up to much but I had fun.
